Amazon’s Prime Day sale is now in its final hours, with the 2024 event ending later today (Wednesday, July 17).
In among the gaming discounts, savings on laptops, LEGO price cuts or offers on Amazon’s own-brand Alexa-enabled Echo smart speakers and Fire TV sticks, it’s important not to forget some very important members of your extended family – your pets – when bargain-hunting on Prime Day.
Several members of the Digital Spy team (your writer included) are very fortunate to have the responsibility of caring for a beloved pet or pets. We want to give them the very best – and, of course, that includes the best deals, whether that’s bulk savings on their favourite food and treats, or a price cut on an investment piece of tech like an automated pet food feeder, or a pet camera for the helicopter pet parents among us.
We’ve been hard at work scouring Amazon’s inventory for the best Prime Day savings. Our last price check was conducted on Wednesday, July 17 at 4.45pm UK time.
Prime Day pet supplies deals – pet food and treats
Premium pet food retailer Lily’s Kitchen is already offering savings on items from its cat and dog food ranges (our friends at Country Living have ranked it as their best homemade pet food brand for dogs).

The brand’s 2.5kg dry dog food bags get a 37% price cut this Prime Day (was £25, now £15.67 for Prime members) across four different flavour varieties.
Customers who want regular deliveries can save even more with a Subscribe & Save price of £14.85 per bag. And non-Prime members can still save on the RRP with a discounted price of £16.50 for one-off purchases.
A 32-tray bundle of Lily’s Kitchen’s mixed Smooth Paté selection for cats is 22% cheaper for Prime members at the moment (RRP £32, now £24.89).
Those without Prime membership can still save a little cash, too, with a discounted price of £26.24.
Another brand to make Country Living‘s best dog food roundup is Harringtons. Dog owners can save 20% on a super bumper pack of Harringtons’ grain-free ‘Adult Complete’ wet food (RRP £64.99, now £51.89), containing 48 400-gram trays of four different varieties.
Prime Day offers are also running on Harringtons cat food – for example, this 19% saving for Prime members on a 2kg bag of complete dry cat food in salmon flavour (RRP £27.96, Prime members pay £22.59).

Prime Day pet supplies deals – cat litter and dog waste bags
There’s no way of really approaching the subject of your pet’s business delicately, so we’ll just get to it.
As well as savings on the likes of Catsan, Felight and World’s Best cat litter, litter mats can be an invaluable accessory for any cat’s household (let’s face it, it’s their household and you’re lucky enough to be granted access).
This Conlum cat litter mat was already reasonably priced at just under £10, but you can currently save a further 34% if you’re a Prime member, bringing the cost down to £6.63.
It’s only got one layer, unlike some double-layered mats which aim to trap the litter and work a bit like a bag – but its grid design should help catch stray litter for a lower-stress cleanup.
For those of you with dogs, you might like to know that you can save on dog waste bags from the likes of Earth Rated (save 33% on 120 recycled bags) and 27% on a bulk pack from Beco (was £21.99, now £16.03 for 540 bags).
This Yingdelai bumper pack contains 540 dog waste bags (27 rolls) and also comes with a handy standard-size dispenser, if you’re in need of one. It’s usually priced at £20.99, but has received a 19% price cut to £16.99 in an offer open to all, not just Prime members.
Prime Day pet supplies deals – dog and cat toys
Want to play fetch with your dog for a very reasonable cost? There’s a bundle of 12 Petface-branded tennis balls which currently has a 39% price reduction (usually £8.99, now £5.50), in a Prime exclusive deal (unfortunately the super-low £2.50 universal deal pricing has now come to an end).
While Petface’s carrot, broccoli and other fruit and veg dog toys are no longer on offer, some items are still available with Prime Day deal pricing.
Allow us to introduce you to Carlos, the eco-friendly crocodile, who usually retails for £8.99 but is now just £5.09 for Prime members (a 43% price reduction). Carlos is made from recycled polyester and the material inside the toy was recycled from old plastic bottles.
Other alliterative dog toys in the Petface Planet range which are on offer this Prime Day include George the Giraffe (was £10.99, now £8.79) and Percy the Parrot (was £10.99, now £6.09).
Meanwhile, Catit’s range of toys remains popular, and its Senses Play Circuit has also received a 48% price reduction (RRP £20.21, now £10.49).
Easy to set up, take apart, clean and reassemble, these circuits are designed to be reconfigured with ease to give your cat variety. If you or your cat aren’t keen on using the flashing ball that’s supplied with the item, then the tracks will also accommodate small ping-pong balls.
For those of you who are comfortable giving your cats catnip toys, the YEOWWW! catnip banana is currently 44% cheaper for Prime members (RRP £9.80, Prime Day deal price £5.49).
All customers can currently save 39% on YEOWW’s catnip rainbow toy, too (RRP £10.80, now £6.58) – a toy which has been tried, tested and thoroughly approved by our managing editor’s cat.
Some of the Nina Ottosson treat puzzles are also on offer as Prime Day comes to a close. This ‘expert level’ multi-puzzle, designed with dogs in mind, is 19% cheaper during the sale (was £20.05, Prime members pay £16.19).
It’s got slidable treat hidey-holes in the centre, and slidable square tiles around the outside, some of which can be locked with a lever.
For a simpler challenge, this ‘hide n slide’ treat puzzle contains movable flaps and slidable treat covers (was £13.73, Prime members pay £10.19 – save 26%).
While marketed for dogs, its design is very similar to the popular Nina Ottosson x Petstages ‘Buggin’ Out’ leaf treat puzzle for cats (which, sadly, isn’t on offer during Prime Day).
Prime Day pet tech deals – automatic feeders, water fountains, Furbo and Petcube cameras and more
Some deals on automatic feeders are running for Prime members already. Petlibro’s automatic 3-litre dry food feeder usually retails at £69.99, but is 19% cheaper for Prime members at £56.50.
You can program up to six daily meals and use a manual feeding button to dispense extra food, and it can run on battery backup power if there’s a power cut.
Note this version doesn’t have WiFi or app capabilities for remote feeding (you’ll need to pay a little more either the smaller 2-litre Petlibro Air, or opt for the larger 5-litre Petlibro Granary WiFi).
We’d recommend the Granary WiFi for ease of setup and its great companion app – our managing editor and cat have one at home, and you can check out our review of the Petlibro Granary WiFi here.
Usually retailing at £95.99, Prime members pay 17% less at £79.99 for this fully-featured automatic pet feeder.
Furbo’s popular 360 dog camera is on offer, too. Usually retailing for £99, Prime members can pay less than half price at £49.
The device has a rotating 360-degree lens (hence the name) and advanced alerts for movement and sounds within the home. It has a treat dispenser built in, and you can also purchase a subscription for further features. You can find out more about Furbo’s privacy measures and security protocols here.
