ZANESVILLE, OH – This week, the Animal Shelter Society is proud to feature Molly as their Pet of The Week.

Molly is a female jack Russell terrier. At four years old, Molly has a gentle nature, a playful personality, and is looking to find her forever home.

“She likes cats, she likes other dogs, she likes people, she just likes life in general. For four years old, she’s very high energy. We will have to keep that in mind with those applications. I want folks to be prepared for that.” Animal Shelter Society Executive Director, April Gibson said.

The animal shelter is currently hosting their annual Santa Paws Supply Drive. Donations of food, toys, liquid laundry detergent, and other pet supplies can be dropped off at the shelter during business hours.

“That’s what helps us. We’re 100% nonprofit. We have no government agency paying for our salaries or anything in that nature. It’s the good people of Muskingum County that keep us in business so we can help animals like Molly.” Gibson said.

Muskingum County dog tags will go on sale on December first.

To fill out an adoption application or for more information, visit the Animal Shelter Society’s website.
